Red Lentil Stew with Loads of Veggies . . 1 medium onion, chopped 3-4 medium carrots, chopped 1 sweet potato, peeled and chopped 1 head of cauliflower, cut into florets 5 cloves of garlic, minced 2-(540 mL) cans of no salt added chickpeas, rinsed 1-(796 mL) can of no salt added diced tomatoes 1.5-2 cups of red spilt lentils, rinsed 1.5 tbsp ground cumin 2 tsp ground turmeric 1 tsp red chili flakes 1/2 tsp ground coriander 1/2 tsp ground cardamom 2-3 bay leaves Salt & pepper to season 5-6 cups of water Olive Oil Cilantro (or parsley if you don’t like cilantro) . . Heat a Dutch oven with olive oil. Add chopped onions and sauté for 5-7 minutes until they are translucent. Add in chopped carrots and sweet potato and continue to cook for another 5-7 minutes. Add in cumin, turmeric, red chili flakes, coriander, cardamom, salt and pepper. After 3-4 minutes, add in the minced garlic and cook for another minute. Then, add in cauliflower, lentils, chickpeas and diced tomatoes. Gently mix all ingredients. Add in bay leaves and water. Bring to a boil then reduce heat and simmer for 1.5-2 hours. BUCKWHEAT PANCAKES I have discovered something very usefull for myself. A flex seed egg!!! Not an egg at all, and I would not call it a substitute, but it is amazing how it binds the flour and milk to make  great pancakes! So, what I have used... 100 gr buckwheat flour 200 gr rice milk 2 tbsp unrefined cane sugar 1 vanilla 2 flex seed eggs What the 2 flex seed eggs contain... Take  2 tablespoons of the grinded flex seeds Mix it with 5 tbssps of water Leave it for 5-7 minutes And it's ready to be used. Švarcvald-sremačke kiflice🥐 . . Potrebno: -1kg belog brašna -1 kockica kvasca - pola litre mleka - 2 žumanceta i 1 celo jaje - 1 kafena kašikica šećera - 1 kafena kašikica soli - 0,5 dl ulja - oko 350-400g čokoladnog krema (Nutela) - očišćene višnje . . . Postupak: U 1 dl smlačenog mleka umešati kvasac, 2 pune kašike brašna i kafenu kašikicu šećer. Promešati i ostaviti da kvasac počne da radi. Ako je na toplom mestu kvasac će brže krenuti. Kada je kvasac u mleku počeo da se podiže, sipati u činiju za mešanje u koju ste prethodno pripremili brašno (prvo dodajte malo više od pola), so, ulje, jedno celo jaje, dva žumanceta i preostalo mleko. Lagano mesiti i dodati još brašna, možda neće trebati bas ceo kilogram. Testo ne treba da je previse meko, treba da je čvrsto pod rukom, ali ne tvrdo. Od celog kg mozda ce vam ostati jedna šaka brašna, što sve zavisi od vrste brašna. Dobro umesiti testo i ostaviti ga na toplo mesto pokriveno krpom da naraste duplo. Zatim testo premesiti I koristiti brašno koje je ostalo za posipanje površine na kojoj mesite. Podeliti testo nožem na 4 dela da se dobiju 4 jufke. Zatim svaku jufku razvući oklagijom što je tanje moguće, barem do 5mm debljine. Izrezati svaku na 12 trouglova. Na rub svakog trougla staviti kašikicu krema i 1 visnju. Zaviti kiflicu. Potrebno je ostaviti da kiflice u plehu stoje barem jos 30-tak minuta da bi ponovo malo narasle. Do tada uključite rernu na 180 stepeni. Kiflice premazati razmucenim zumancetom i peći dok blago ne porumene. MylaporeKitchens restaurant reviews - If you live in Chennai, and you haven’t had the Mysore bondas at Sangeetha, Egmore, shivalaya building, your life is ‘total waste only’! Go there at 4 pm, eat chuda chuda Mysore bondas, wash it down with a coffee. Bliss, I guarantee you. I also recommend their vada pav and chilli lemon drink. Vada pav is one the best I have had anywhere and the chilli lemon is terrific. Ask them not to add grapes. And ask for a spicy drink. Lip smacking 👌🏾! Been going here for a decade, still haven’t tried their breakfast. They open at 9 am, which is way too late for me. Their dosas are to die for, my favourites being the podi dosa and paper dosa. Onion oothappam and poori masal are too good as well. It’s always way too crowded during lunch and dinner. Evenings are ok.
